Anchor moments can be defined as moments in which you have felt especially confident, successful or powerful. For me it is one of those ‘aha’ moments, when I am speaking passionately about a subject and changing minds in the process or when advice I have given has had a real impact. Conversely crucible moments are when I have learnt from a challenging experience. Difficult events are called leadership crucibles, they are trials and tests that have forced me to question what really matters. I talk about these key anchor and crucible moments in the positions I have held throughout my career on the page 'Lucy's Moments'.
